Membership
IESIS is Scotland's unique multi-disciplinary engineering Institution.
The Institution enjoys friendly relations with the great specialist engineering Institutions like the Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and co-operates with them for the common good. Many IESIS members are members of these other learned societies.
Membership of IESIS is open to professional engineers of any discipline who in the opinion of the Council are appropriately qualified.
If you would like to know more, contact the Secretary or, if you prefer, just come along to an IESIS meeting and make yourself known to the Secretary or a Member of Council there. You will be warmly welcomed.
IESIS is Scotland's longest established engineering body. It can provide you with the opportunity to play a bigger part in the corporate life of your profession, and in the promotion of engineering, and thereby help to develop and deepen your own professional skills and experience.
