17 November, 2009 – Analysis of Electricity Generation in Scotland
The IESIS Energy Strategy Group has published an analysis which shows that:-
a) The Scottish Government's Energy Policy is seriously flawed in relation to technical feasibility
b) The planning for replacing electricity generating facilities in Scotland is well behind schedule
c) Multi-disciplinary, holistic, engineering thinking is needed to address this crisis
